The Agroteknikk was founded in 1997 by the Association of Importers of Tractors and Agricultural Machinery. Since then, the show has grown in scope, size and number of visitors, and is now Norway's largest and most important agricultural gathering place. In 2021, the exhibition attracted nearly 37,000 visitors, as many as 170 exhibitors, and the exhibition area was almost 40,000 square meters.
