Zhougang Digital Twin System Launched
On March 5, the digital twin system of the shipping company, after two months of stable operation, has become the first smart port platform in Zhejiang Seaport Group and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group to cover the widest range of cargo types, based on the WebGL architecture (a 3D rendering protocol), and support multi-terminal compatibility, fully empowering the intelligent upgrade of the port with its three core advantages of full-scene coverage, lightweight operation, and high integration.
The system, jointly developed by Zhoushan Port Company and Xintong Company, closely aligns with the characteristics of the company's port operations, completing the digital modeling of bulk cargo, containers, and more than 20 types of production equipment. It achieves real-time mapping of the operating status and work trajectory of equipment such as grabs and belt conveyors, dynamically displaying loading and unloading processes, achieving breakthroughs from "single cargo management" to "multi-cargo full coverage" and from "standardized operations" to "differentiated adaptation," providing precise service support for the entire chain of port production.
In terms of technical architecture, the system adopts model optimization and layered display strategies, freeing itself from the reliance on traditional high-performance rendering equipment, supporting smooth operation on various terminals such as ordinary computers and tablets, significantly reducing hardware investment and maintenance costs, and achieving widespread coverage from management personnel to frontline operators.
At the same time, the system relies on multi-source data aggregation technology to break down data barriers between various business platforms, constructing a comprehensive digital data center covering production, equipment, and operations, effectively integrating scattered information into real-time full data, enhancing cross-departmental collaboration efficiency, and solidifying the data foundation for scientific decision-making.
After two months of actual operation, the system has become the "smart brain" of the company's port operations, promoting intelligent linkage and precise allocation between ships, machinery, and berths, breaking down information barriers between positions, promoting data sharing and collaborative operations, significantly reducing communication costs, and improving operational efficiency.
